Many voters in Bosnia and Herzegovina said they do not expect much to change after Sunday’s election, with residents in Sarajevo frustrated by the same political figures and divisions that have shaped the country for decades.
Some voters in Banja Luka supported the results, while others called for younger leaders to take over. Voter turnout was 42.02%.
Bosnia remains divided along ethnic lines following the 1992–95 war. The country is seeking to join the European Union but has yet to begin formal membership talks.
