The Department of Migrant Workers is taking legal action following the fatal bus crash in Bavaria that killed two Filipinos and injured several others.
The DMW is, in particular, looking at possible criminal and civil cases against the Milan-based bus operator and the drivers.
"We have teamed up with Consuls General in both Milan and Frankfurt to ensure that justice will be delivered here, to the families of the aggrieved, the victims, the two deceased victims, and the rest of those 31 or so passengers, dun sa bus na iyon na Pilipino," DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said.
So far, the DMW said the remains of the two Filipino fatalities are being processed for repatriation "in coordination with the appropriate authorities."
Of those injured, two, meanwhile, remain hospitalized in Bavaria and are receiving government monitoring and assistance.
The bus, which had come from Milan, was on its way to Munich when it went off the A96 motorway and overturned near Buchloe.
A total of 35 people -- including the two drivers -- were on board when the incident happened.
