Umapela ang depensa ni Vice President Sara Duterte habang tinatanong ni House panel prosecutor Rep. Jonathan Keith Flores ang testigo ng Land Registration Authority (LRA) na si Atty. Kathy Florence Baldonado kaugnay ng SALN ng Bise Presidente.
Ayon kay defense lawyer Atty. Lindon Bacquel, walang sapat na batayan at hindi umano kwalipikado ang witness para maglahad tungkol sa nilalaman ng SALN.
“We are not asking the witness to testify or analyze what’s inside the SALN. We object on the ground of incompetence, your honor, and no basis, your honor. Considering that the witness would not know anything about the SALN of the Vice President and that the prosecution has yet to lay any foundational or testimonial evidence allowing them to show the SALN.”

“The SALN is a common exhibit for both the prosecution and the defense, your honor. We are not asking the witness to testify or analyze what’s inside the SALN, your honor. All we’re asking the witness is to identify whether or not the details as mentioned in the title and the deed of sale are properly reflected in the list of properties that were declared by the Vice President in her SALN.”
