A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Thursday, Oct. 1.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake hit at 10:43 p.m.
Its epicenter was 18 km southwest of Mamburao.
The depth of focus was 10 km.
The following instrumental intensities were reported:

Intensity II - City of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro
Intensity I - Abra De Ilog, Occidental Mindoro
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
