Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over parts of the country.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the conditions are expected in particular in Mindanao, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Central Visayas due to the trough of Tropical Storm "Choi-Wan" affecting Visayas and Mindanao.
The tropical cyclone is so far located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
PAGASA said the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
