Seven Filipinos were injured in attacks in Saudi Arabia, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Monday, Oct. 19.
Of the seven, the DFA said three are in critical condition.
"The [DFA] and the [Department of Migrant Workers] are coordinating with Saudi authorities to provide necessary medical care and assistance while reaffirming the Philippines' solidarity with the Kingdom in protecting its nationals and residents, including one million Filipinos," the DFA said.
It also called on "all parties to cease hostilities and to pursue a peaceful resolution through dialogue and diplomacy."
"We urge all Filipinos in the Kingdom to follow the guidance of Saudi authorities and to remain in contact with the Embassy and Consulate General," it added.
