A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, October 8.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake -- an aftershock of the 6.5-magnitude and 7.8-magnitude earthquakes that jolted Davao Occidental and Sarangani, respectively, in June -- hit at 12:42 a.m.
PHIVOLCS said its epicenter was 66 km southeast of Balut Island.
