September 23, 2026 – The Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) officially recognized the PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office of Manila (LHIO Manila) during its recent Recognition of Partner Agencies ceremony held at Novotel Hotel, Quezon City.The award was accepted on behalf of PhilHealth by Mr. Rey Balena, PhilHealth Regional Office NCR North Branch Manager, alongside Ms. Yvonne Fernandez, Head of the PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) Manila.
PhilHealth LHIO Manila earned the distinction for its consistent, months-long contributions to DOLE’s Integrated Livelihood Program, themed “Kabuhayang Matatag, Mamamayang Umaangat.”Through the dedicated efforts of PhilHealth LHIO Manila,the DOLE beneficiaries were provided vital assistance in their membership registration, social health insurance education which elevated their knowledge about availing of the PhilHealth benefits particularly the “Yaman ng Kalusugan” Program and PhilHealth GAMOT.
