The southwest monsoon is affecting Luzon and Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Occidental Mindoro, Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Antique will have occasional rains as a result.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy with at times intense and heavy rains are possible.
PAGASA said Zamboanga Peninsula, the rest of Luzon, the rest of Visayas, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, and Lanao del Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms while the rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands, meanwhile, will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, this time, due to the trough of Typhoon "Dolphin" located 810 km northeast of extreme Northern Luzon.
Extreme Northern Luzon will have strong to gale-force winds and rough to very rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
