BTS member Jimin has added another major streaming achievement to his solo career as his hit single “Like Crazy” surpassed 1 billion filtered streams on Spotify.
BIGHIT MUSIC announced the milestone on September 17, with the song reaching the billion-stream mark as of September 14.
The achievement makes “Like Crazy” the first fully Korean-language solo song to surpass 1 billion filtered streams on the platform.
Released in March 2023 as the title track of Jimin’s debut solo album FACE, “Like Crazy” became an international hit upon its release. The synth-pop track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for five weeks. FACE, meanwhile, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spent seven weeks on the album chart.
The song also enjoyed an extended run internationally, spending 60 weeks on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, where it peaked at No. 2. It also reached No. 8 on the UK Official Singles chart.
The latest achievement gives Jimin more than one solo track with at least a billion filtered Spotify streams. His MUSE title track “Who” has surpassed 2.5 billion filtered streams, according to reports citing BIGHIT MUSIC.
The filtered milestone is separate from the song’s overall Spotify play count. “Like Crazy” had already crossed 1 billion cumulative Spotify streams in April 2024, while the latest record refers specifically to streams counted after Spotify’s filtering process for its charts.
