Twenty volcanic earthquakes were monitored in Kanlaon in the last 24 hours.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said also monitored at the volcano, which remains under alert level 2, were 1287 tons of sulfur dioxide flux.
A plume reaching 1200 meters high was also reported.
PHIVOLCS reminded the public that entry into the 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone should remain banned.
Aircraft should not be allowed to fly close to the volcano due to possible steam or phreatic and magmatic explosions.
