Typhoon "Saudel" is now inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the center of the tropical cyclone, with domestic name "Obet," entered PAR at 1:20 p.m.
So far, a heavy rainfall outlook is raised over Batanes today until tomorrow due to the southwest monsoon.
The same outlook is raised over Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro from Wednesday noon to Thursday noon.
PAGASA earlier said the tropical cyclone is less likely to directly affect the weather and sea conditions in the country in the next three days.
On the forecast track, it said the tropical cyclone will remain over the Philippine Sea and will exit the PAR tonight or tomorrow morning.
However, a more westward track beyond 24 hours may result in it remaining within the PAR beyond Tuesday, PAGASA had said.
