"Queenie" has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the center of the tropical cyclone is now located 865 km northeast of extreme Northern Luzon.
The tropical cyclone is packing maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h near the center and has a gustiness of 190 km/h.
PAGASA said it is moving northeastward at 20 km/h.
The tropical cyclone is expected to accelerate northeastward toward the sea south of mainland Japan.
A slight intensification remains possible, but a weakening by is forecast to begin by tomorrow.
