The Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, as a result, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected in Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Palawan.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of Visayas and the rest of Mindanao, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA said light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected in the country.
