A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Monday, Aug. 24.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake -- an aftershock of the June magnitude-7.8 Sarangani and 6.5 Davao Occidental earthquakes in June -- hit at 11:59 a.m.
Its epicenter was 29 km southwest of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 25 km.
