One of the seven Filipinos injured in a recent attack at King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia is still in the intensive care unit, the Department of Migrant Workers said on Friday, Oct. 16.
According to the DMW, the OFW is in a coma and intubated.
"The good news is that surgical operations were successful and from 3/15 on the Glasgow Coma Scale Score, she is now at 9/15 based on the report of our Labor Attaché in Riyadh on Oct. 15, 2026," DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said.
The DMW said of the seven injured in the attack in the airport in Riyadh on Saturday, October 10, three had to be rushed to the intensive care unit.
Two of them were already transferred to the ward.
The DMW said the Migrant Workers Office and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration in Riyadh are still monitoring, not just the condition of the Filipino in the ICU but also of the two who are no longer in intensive care.
The rest who were injured in the attack have been discharged, the DMW said.
