Face-to-face classes on Friday, Aug. 28, were suspended in some areas due to the bad weather brought by the southwest monsoon.
The following are covered by the suspension:
Caloocan - both public and private schools; alternative modes of learning to be implemented
Kibungan, Benguet - from preschool to senior high school; alternative modes of learning to be implemented
Las Piñas - both public and private schools
Malabon - both public and private schools; alternative modes of learning to be implemented
Manila - both public and private schools; alternative modes of learning to be implemented
Marikina - both public and private schools; alternative modes of learning to be implemented
Quezon City - both public and private schools; alternative modes of learning to be implemented
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration earlier said rains are expected in some parts of the country with the southwest monsoon affecting Luzon and the western section of Visayas.
