Occasional rains will prevail in Zambales on Thursday, Aug. 27, as the southwest monsoon continues to affect Luzon and the western section of Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, Batanes, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of Luzon, Aklan, Capiz, and Negros Oriental will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA said Luzon and the western section of Visayas will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
