Twenty-nine distressed Overseas Filipino Workers from Cambodia are scheduled to be repatriated on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The Department of Migrant Workers said of the 29, 23 are alleged human trafficking victims.
The DMW said the Migrant Workers Office in Phnom Penh and the Philippine Embassy in Cambodia arranged the repatriation.
Through the DMW's AKSYON fund, the DMW said the OFWs were also given repatriation assistance.
"The operation aims to bring the affected OFWs back to the Philippines following their distressing situations in Cambodia," the DMW said.
