MPEACHMENT TRIAL UPDATE:
Inalmahan ni Atty. Shiela Sison ang pagtawag ni Atty. Benjamin Tolosa Jr. kay Atty. Michael Poa bilang “abogadong walang alam” sa impeachment trial.
Hiningi ni Sison na alisin sa record ang naturang pahayag dahil hindi umano ito angkop sa paglilitis.
Iniharap si Poa bilang hostile witness sa pagtalakay sa Article I o alegasyon ng maling paggamit ng confidential funds ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ayon kay Tolosa, pinili umano siya ni Vice President Sara Duterte upang sagutin ang mga auditor.
“The Vice President chose him—the man who knew nothing—to answer the auditors.”
Bilang tugon, sinabi ni Sison:
“I don’t think that to include in the offer a statement that said ‘ang abogadong walang alam’ is proper. Whether here or outside the court, whether we are trying an impeachment case or we are just talking to one another as fellow members of the bar. I believe I have to ask the court to strike this off the record.”
