The Department of Migrant Workers on Monday, Oct. 12, reminded Overseas Filipino Workers in Saudi Arabia to be careful when posting on social media.
The DMW issued the reminder following the attack on King Khalid International Airport on Oct. 10.
According to DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, Saudi Arabia has strict "protocols" and laws in place governing the dissemination of wrong information.
He said sanctions include possible deportation or jail time.
"So this is not the time to post any haka-haka o opinion. So mag-ingat po sa pagpost sa social media," he said.
