National ID holders can avail of free Light Rail Transit-2 rides during select hours on September 16.
The Light Rail Transit Authority said the free rides from 7 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm are in celebration of National Identity Day.
To avail of the free rides, commuters should present the physical, printed paper or digital copy of their national ID to station personnel.
"Layunin ng inisyatibong ito na bigyang diin ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng verifiable proof of identity at hikayatin ang mga hindi pa nakakapagparehistro na maging bahagi ng National ID System," the LRTA said.
