The U.S. Coast Guard and partner agencies rescued at least 40 people and recovered two bodies after a makeshift vessel capsized about 10 miles off Mona Island, Puerto Rico, on September 28.
Survivors told authorities that around 60 people were aboard when a fight broke out late on September 27, leaving several people injured and prompting others to jump into the sea.
Search and rescue operations continued as authorities worked to locate any remaining passengers.
