Residents in parts of Mexico are stocking up on food, water, diapers, milk and other basic necessities as Hurricane Polo approaches.
Some recalled previous storms that caused extensive damage and prolonged power outages, prompting families to prepare early.
Locals said they are closely following official advisories and taking precautions as the hurricane nears the coast.
While the storm’s exact impact remains uncertain, residents said they would rather be prepared in case Polo brings strong winds, flooding or other damage.
