Heavy rainfall is expected until Monday, Sept. 7, as the southwest monsoon continues to affect Luzon and Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 11 pm advisory that Zambales and Bataan, in particular, will experience 100 mm to 200 mm of rainfall until tomorrow evening.
Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro and Antique will have 50 mm to 100 mm of rainfall.
Tomorrow evening to Sunday evening, 100 mm to 200 mm of rainfall are expected in Occidental Mindoro while Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Antique will have 50 mm to 100 mm or rainfall.
Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas and Occidental Mindoro will experience 50 mm to 100 mm of rainfall from Sunday to Monday evening.
According to PAGASA, forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas.
