A 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit Zambales on Friday, Sept. 4.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 4:48 p.m.
The epicenter was five kilometers northwest of Masinloc.
The depth of focus was 39 km.
The following instrumental intensities were reported:

Intensity II - City Of Dagupan; Santa Ignacia, Tarlac; Cabangan and Iba, Zambales
Intensity I - Rizal, Nueva Ecija; Bani, Pangasinan; Botolan, and San Marcelino, Zambales, City Of Olongapo
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
