Kinumpirma ni financial forensic analyst Atty. Alexander Cabrera na si Congressman Chel Diokno ang lumapit sa kaniya upang maging testigo sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa pagtatanong ni defense counsel Atty. Kristine Ferrer, sinabi ni Cabrera na una niyang nakaharap nang personal si Diokno nang magkasama sila sa isang panel ng Good Governance Advocates of the Philippines noong nakaraang taon.
Tinanong ni Ferrer kung sino sa mga miyembro ng panel ng prosekusyon ang lumapit kay Cabrera.
“Who among the members of the panel of prosecutors approached you sir, if you can recall?”
“It is Congressman Chel Diokno,” sagot ni Cabrera.
Tinanong din ni Ferrer kung nakilala na ni Cabrera si Diokno bago ito, dahil sa mga pagdinig sa publiko.
“No po. The first time I met Congressman Chel Diokno, I mean face-to-face, we sat on a panel together in the Good Governance Advocates of the Philippines... That was last year lang po yata,” ayon kay Cabrera.
