Floodwaters in Bangkok are beginning to recede, but travelers may still face flight and baggage disruptions at Suvarnabhumi Airport, one of Thailand’s main international gateways.
The Thai government said remaining floodwater in the capital could clear within three days if no more heavy rain falls.
Thai Airways reported 34 delayed flights on September 28 and said baggage from 52 flights between September 26 and 27 was still being delivered to passengers.
The airline also cancelled eight flights on September 29 because of the flooding and aircraft scheduling problems.
For Filipino passengers traveling to or through Bangkok, authorities and airlines are advising travelers to check flight updates before heading to the airport.
