Cloudy skies and rains will prevail over parts of the country on Friday night.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, Quezon, Laguna, and Marinduque, in particular, will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of a low pressure area.
The LPA is estimated 965 km east of Southeastern Luzon.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, this time, due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA said the entire country is expected to have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
