The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
PAGASA said the tropical cyclone is so far located 2925 km east of southeastern Luzon.
So far, the Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting Visayas and Mindanao.
Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Masbate, Lanao del Sur and Davao Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
The same conditions will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon due to localized thunderstorms.
According to the weather bureau, the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
