The low pressure area that was being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has dissipated.
Nevertheless, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration advised the public to continue monitoring weather updates.
It said, so far, the southwest monsoon continues affecting the western portions of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Cloudy skies and rains, it said, are therefore expected over parts of the country, including Western Visayas, Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula and Romblon.
Localized thunderstorms, meanwhile, are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
With the light rains and thunderstorms over parts of the country, PAGASA said Quezon, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas water courses will no longer be affected.
The water courses in Palawan, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque will no longer be affected either.
