The southwest monsoon is affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Western Visayas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
Negros Island Region and Zamboanga Peninsula will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience the same conditions, but, this time, due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA said the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
