Mayon logged two ash events on Saturday, Sept. 19, its generated grayish plume rising 600 meters above the summit.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the ash events lasted for 35 to 46 seconds.
A total of 23 volcanic earthquakes were also monitored, including one volcanic tremor that lasted for four minutes.
PHIVOLCS said sulfur dioxide flux was at 1258 tons as of Sept. 18.
The ban on the 6-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone, PHIVOLCS said, should remain in place.
Aircraft, it added, should also not fly above the volcano with rockfall, sudden steam and phreatic explosions, among others, possible.
Mayon remains under alert level 2.
