Cloudy skies and rains are expected over parts of the country on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Western Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro and Palawan, in particular, will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula and Romblon, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA said the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
