Kanlaon emitted ash on Friday, August 14, with the grayish plume rising 200 meters above the summit crater.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the event lasted for 92 minutes.
The volcano -- which remains under alert level 2 -- also logged four volcanic earthquakes.
As of August 13, sulfur dioxide flux was pegged at 3010 tons.
PHIVOLCS said the ban on the entry into the 4-kilometer Permanent Danger Zone should remain.
Aircraft should not be allowed to fly near the volcano, PHIVOLCS added.
