Habang tumataas ang tensyon sa impeachment court, nagbigay ng final warning si presiding officer Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero sa prosecution, defense, at mga Senator-Judge na panatilihin ang rule of law at integridad ng proseso ng paglilitis.
Binigyang-diin ni Escudero na hindi dapat maging trial by publicity ang impeachment proceedings at kailangang nakasentro ang paglilitis sa ebidensya at hustisya.

“This court will close the door to trial by publicity, but it will keep the courtroom open to the disciplined advocacy where evidence is tested, error is corrected, and justice is done.”
