Classes on Wednesday, Aug.12, were suspended in some areas due to the heavy rains caused by the southwest monsoon.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the following areas are covered by the suspension:
Abra - kindergarten to senior high school in public and private schools
Benguet - preschool to senior high school in public and private schools
Bulacan
Malolos - no face-to-face classes in public and private schools; learning continuity modalities to be implemented
Pangasinan
Aguilar - all levels in public and private schools
Calasiao - all levels in public and private schools
Lingayen - all levels in public and private schools
