A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Wednesday, July 29.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was an aftershock of the June magnitude 7.8 offshore Sarangani and magnitude 6.5 offshore Davao Occidental earthquake.
It struck at 9:16 p.m. and its epicenter was 20 kilometers northwest of Burgos.
The depth of focus was 27 km.

Intensity II - Kiamba, and Maitum, Sarangani; Santa Maria, Davao Occidental; Lake Sebu, South Cotabato
Intensity I - City of Kidapawan, Cotabato; Matanao, Davao Del Sur; Tampakan, South Cotabato
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
