A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Monday, August 10.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was an aftershock of the 7.8-magnitude Sarangani and 6.5-magnitude Davao Occidental earthquakes in June.
The epicenter of Monday's quake, which struck at 6:17 a.m., was 248 km southeast of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 62 kilometers.
No damage to property was reported but aftershocks were expected.
