The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
PAGASA said while the LPA 280 km east of Catarman, Northern Samar is unlikely to develop into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours, it is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Catanduanes, Masbate, Albay, and Sorsogon.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of Bicol Region will also experience the same conditions, this time, due to the easterlies.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA said the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
