Nanawagan si New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani sa U.S. federal government na arestuhin si Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu na mayroong nakabinbin na arrest warrant mula sa International Criminal Court.
"The city does not have the authority to execute this warrant, however, what is also clear is that the federal government does have the authority to execute this warrant. I call on the federal government to join the International Criminal Court and to execute both this warrant," dagdag ni Mamdani.
Nag-isyu ang ICC ng warrant kay Netanyahu noong 2024 dahil sa war crimes noong panahon ng Gaza war kung saan libu-lubong katao ang nasawi.
