A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Thursday, Aug. 6.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake -- an aftershock of the magnitude 7.8 Sarangani and 6.5-magnitude Davao Occidental earthquake in June -- hit at 5:41 a.m.
Its epicenter was 99 km southwest of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 10 km.

Intensity I - City of Kidapawan, Cotabato; City Of Davao; Magsaysay, Davao Del Sur; Surallah and Tampakan, South Cotabato; Bagumbayan, Isulan, Esperanza, and Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
