A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Monday, July 20.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:40 p.m.
Its epicenter was 406 km southeast of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 10 km.
No damage to property was reported but aftershocks are expected.
