A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, July 18.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake -- an aftershock of the 7.8-magnitude offshore Sarangani and the 6.5-magnitude offshore Davao Occidental earthquake -- hit at 10:23 a.m.
Its epicenter was 104 km southwest of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 10 km.

Intensity II - Maasim, Sarangani; Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat
Intensity I - City Of General Santos; T'Boli and Tupi, South Cotabato; Kiamba and
Maitum, Sarangani; Santa Maria, Davao Occidental; Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
