Classes and government work on Friday, Oct. 23, have been suspended in some areas as Typhoon "Rosal" continued to traverse the sea in the northern part of the country.
The following areas are covered by the suspension:
Batanes
The suspension applies to all levels in public and private schools.
Government work, except for offices providing essential services and involved in public order, disaster response and management, is also suspended.
