A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 11:38 a.m.
Its epicenter was 76 km southeast of Jose Abad Santos.
The depth of focus was 164 km.
