Manila, Philippines — For thousands of Filipino music fans, a trip to Puregold has become more than just a grocery run—it has become the gateway to one of the year's most anticipated concerts.

As ticket selling for Puregold OPM Con Generations officially opened on June 12, customers trooped to participating Puregold stores across the country, eager to secure passes to the July 11 concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum while completing their regular grocery purchases.
Now in its third year, Puregold OPM Con Generations continues to redefine how fans experience live music by making concert access part of the everyday shopping experience. This year's powerhouse lineup features SB19, Ben&Ben, Alamat, Flow G, Skusta Clee, Sunkissed Lola, G22, KAIA, and Xonara, bringing together today's biggest names across OPM, P-pop, hip-hop, and alternative music.
Ticket selling was held simultaneously in participating Puregold branches in Taytay, Rizal; Biñan, Laguna; Anabu-Imus, Cavite; Valenzuela; QI Central, Cubao, and Fairview Terraces in Quezon City; Tayuman and Kalentong in Manila; Parañaque; Cainta, Rizal; and San Pedro, Laguna.

The excitement was evident as fans lined up hours before stores opened. Some, like A'TIN member Beverly Jane, even camped overnight to make sure they wouldn't miss the opportunity.
"Super excited na for the concert kasi pinila talaga namin ito. Nandito na kami since 7 last night," she shared, adding that Puregold made the wait comfortable by providing food, drinks, and a well-ventilated waiting area.
She also praised the retailer's continued support for Filipino music.
"Thank you so much sa Puregold dahil malaking platform ito para sa OPM at sobrang supportive nito hindi lang sa SB19 kundi sa buong P-pop community."
The event also underscored how music transcends generations. Among those who secured tickets was 62-year-old Suzette Santiago, whose love for SB19 has inspired her to actively attend concerts and fan events.
"Whenever I listen to their music, may message talaga, and that's what draws me to them," she said. "It's so nice that Puregold is doing this because it's really encouraging to see our OPM music and industry continue to rise."
For Arnel Lamber, the experience proved that everyday shopping can come with extraordinary rewards.
"Thankful ako sa Puregold kasi nakaka-experience kami ng ganito. Kahit puyat, okay lang kasi masaya naman," he said after successfully securing his concert ticket.
According to Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Senior Marketing Manager of Puregold Price Club Inc., the overwhelming response reflects how deeply Filipinos value both music and shared experiences.
"The response we've seen so far has been overwhelming. It's remarkable to see so many customers excited not only about the concert, but also about being part of the experience through Puregold. We eagerly welcome even more concertgoers as ticket selling continues."
As anticipation builds toward July 11, Puregold OPM Con Generations once again demonstrates that supporting Original Pilipino Music can begin with something as familiar as a grocery trip—bringing fans, artists, and communities together in one unforgettable celebration of Filipino talent.
