The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
PAGASA said the LPA has a "medium" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
So far, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Western Visayas, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.
Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains are possible.
The rest of Luzon and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Mindanao, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA said Northern Luzon and the western seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon will have
moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
