A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, Aug. 14.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake that hit at 9:14 a.m. was an aftershock of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Sarangani and the 6.5-magnitude tremor that jolted Davao Occidental in June.
The epicenter of Friday's earthquake was 44 km southwest of Sarangani.
Its depth of focus was 10 km.

Intensity II - Kiamba and Malapatan, Sarangani; City Of General Santos; Tupi and T'Boli, South Cotabato
Intensity I - Malungon and Maitum, Sarangani; Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
