More Filipino workers will have greater access to quality homes at more affordable prices as Pag-IBIG Fund expands its housing partnerships under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program, with Filinvest Land Inc. joining its network of partner developers.
The partnership opens select Filinvest residential projects to Pag-IBIG Housing Loan financing and allows qualified members to access preferential pricing and other benefits, further widening the housing choices available to Pag-IBIG members.
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees Chairperson Jose Ramon P. Aliling said the partnership builds on gains already achieved under the Expanded 4PH Program as the government continues to work with the private sector to expand access to affordable housing.
“Under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded 4PH Program, we have already made significant gains in bringing more affordable housing opportunities within reach of Filipino families, and we are building on this momentum. By working more closely with the private sector and bringing more of the country’s leading developers into this shared effort, we can open even more opportunities for our people. With more reputable companies now partnering with Pag-IBIG Fund, Filipino workers will have more housing choices supported by affordable financing and better opportunities to own a home,” Aliling said.
Aliling witnessed Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta and Filinvest Land President and CEO Tristan Las Marias sign a memorandum of understanding formalizing the partnership in Quezon City. The signing was also witnessed by Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy CEO Alexander Hilario G. Aguilar and FLI Residential Business Head Mary Averose Valderrama.
Under the partnership, qualified Pag-IBIG Housing Loan borrowers may enjoy preferential pricing on select units in participating Pag-IBIG-accredited Filinvest projects.
Prospective homebuyers can also benefit from Pag-IBIG Fund’s increased housing loan limit of up to ₱10 million, the subsidized interest rate of 3% per annum for qualified socialized housing borrowers under Expanded 4PH, and promotional rates of 4.5% per annum for loans up to ₱4.9 million and 5.75% per annum for loans above ₱4.9 million and up to ₱10 million.
Las Marias said the agreement brings together Filinvest Land’s residential developments and Pag-IBIG Fund’s housing finance programs to provide qualified homebuyers with more options toward homeownership.
“Our partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund allows us to help more Filipino families move closer to owning a home by giving qualified buyers access to financing options and incentives across select Filinvest Land developments. Through this collaboration, we also hope to support the Expanded 4PH Program by widening access to quality and affordable housing and giving more Filipinos the opportunity to build a home of their own,” Las Marias said.
The partnership will also bring housing opportunities and Pag-IBIG services closer to prospective homebuyers through home-matching activities, housing fairs, property exhibits and information activities.
Pag-IBIG Fund will provide housing loan orientations and assistance to interested members, while Filinvest Land will identify participating projects and available units that members may consider, subject to applicable program guidelines.
Acosta said having Filinvest Land as a partner allows Pag-IBIG Fund to pair its affordable financing with more housing choices and preferential offers for members.
“With Filinvest Land as our partner, we can bring together affordable Pag-IBIG financing and quality homes at better prices for our members. Pag-IBIG Fund has raised its housing loan limit to ₱10 million and introduced lower promotional rates, and we hope to complement these with preferential prices and meaningful offers from Filinvest. By working together, we can give our members more choices and more practical means to take that next step toward owning a home,” Acosta said.
The agreement with Filinvest Land is part of Pag-IBIG Fund’s continuing effort to strengthen partnerships with the country’s leading developers and expand the range of homes available to its members.
In recent weeks, Pag-IBIG Fund has also partnered with SM Development Corp. and Ayala Land residential brands Avida Land and Amaia Land, further widening private-sector participation in support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded 4PH Program.
Other Pag-IBIG Fund officials in attendance were Acting Deputy CEO Atty. Marcial Pimentel Jr., Senior Vice President Fermin A. Sta. Teresa Jr., and Acting Vice Presidents Atty. Jose Robert Po and Tina Marie Gabiosa.
